About USC DHOP

The USC Dental Humanitarian Outreach Program is a nonprofit, student-run organization that serves the dental needs of poor communities. It provides cleanings, restorations, extractions, and provides education about oral hygiene and health in an effort to curb oral disease in severely underserved populations. This includes multiple trips per year to treat people in severely impoverished countries where care is unavailable or unobtainable. They rely on fundraising and donations of supplies, equipment and financial assistance to provide quality care to as many in need as possible.

Mission Statement: The mission of the USC DHOP (Dental Humanitarian Outreach Program) is to deliver USC’s quality of dentistry to underserved communities around the globe.
